Worklot is a job-management tool for trade and engineering businesses, operated by Bloor Engineering Ltd (registered in England & Wales, company no. 14230472, 11 Pennine Way, Swadlincote, Derbyshire, DE11 9EX), the data controller for the information you give us. What we collect

• Account details you give us: your name, email, company name and password.
• The business data you put in: your customers, quotes, jobs, invoices and related records. This is yours; we process it only to provide the service to you.
• Usage and technical data: basic logs needed to run and secure the service. Our website analytics are privacy-friendly and cookieless.

Why we use it and our lawful basis

We use your data to provide Worklot, take payment, support you and keep the service secure. The lawful basis is performance of our contract with you, and our legitimate interest in running and improving the service. We do not sell your data or use it for third-party advertising.

Who we share it with

Only the processors needed to run the service, under contract: our hosting provider (UK/EU), Stripe for card payments, and Microsoft where email is sent on your behalf. Each acts on our instructions only.

Where it's stored and how long

Data is held on access-controlled servers in the UK/EU. We keep it for as long as your account is active and as long as needed to meet legal and accounting obligations, then delete it. You can export or ask us to delete your data at any time.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can access, correct, export or erase your data, and object to or restrict certain processing. Email support@worklot.co.uk and we'll action it. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Cookies

We use only the cookies required to run the app (for example, keeping you signed in). Our analytics do not use tracking cookies.
